Description

Wästberg’s Sempé table lamp was named after its designer, the French Inga Sempé. Made of metal, the minimalist luminaire borrows its form from a push pin and, perhaps a little less obviously, from traditional machine tool lighting used in the metal industry. The Sempé table lamp looks simultaneously weighty and light both in terms of materials and aesthetics: the luminaire consists of a curved shade in aluminium and a metal arm that is slimmer at the bottom, as well as a sturdy base decorated with a cleat. Both the arm and the shade can be adjusted to suit the space and purpose.
